Unique features of this saddle include: edges of the leather that follow the contours of the flower stamping, 2-inch wide Visalia-style monel stirrups and a cushion seat inlaid with full-quill ostrich leather. It has an in-skirt rigging and 13-inch swells. Silversmith Scott Hardy collaborated with bright-cut engraved silver trim in a matching floral motif. Sale Price $28,000

Usually saddle parts are cut to fit, and then the flower decoration follows the edges of the leather. On this saddle, the flower design was executed, and then the final cuts were made respective to the stamping.

These grulla-colored woolie chaps are lined with old fashioned pillow ticking. There is a hip pocket inside each leg and the flower stamped leather yokes are hand-sewn at eight stitches per inch. Sale Price $7,500

Burned into the leather linings of the yokes are figures of bronc riders. The three-piece buckle set of hand-engraved sterling silver was made by Scott Hardy.

This browband headstall is lined and entirely hand-sewn with Irish linen at nine stitches per inch. The decorative stitching on the browband is 11 stitches per inch and is a design borrowed from France. Scott Hardy designed and fabricated the sterling silver buckles and bridle loops. This all-leather case is made from Bavarian cowhide tanned in France. The filigreed panel on the lid is Herman Oak leather. Hamley’s (Pendleton, Oregon) once made a multi-purpose case which provided Schwarz with inspiration for this project. The box corners are hand-sewn with waxed 6-cord linen thread. Sale Price $2,000
