In the early 20th century, bronc belts were fairly common and used to protect the kidneys in the rodeo arena and were also given out as awards. This belt features three sterling silver engraved buckles by Mark Drain. The hand tooled motif of exotic flowers and butterflies is meticulously hand colored and is reminiscent of Victorian era design. The fine kip-skin lining holds a special surprise; a lovely burned-in image of the famous Pendleton Roundup poster originally drawn by Wallace Smith. The Bronc rider is wearing a similar three buckle kidney belt. Sale Price $5,500
